Scope of Warranty
- Subject to these Warranty Terms, Bourne Bathroom & Kitchen Group Pty Ltd (ABN 97 458 116 880) warrants that the Goods will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the applicable Warranty Period.
- This Warranty applies only to Goods sold and installed in Australia on or after 1 July 2025 and purchased from Bourne or an authorised Bourne reseller.
- This Warranty is provided to the original Consumer only and is non-transferable.
- The rights and remedies set out in these Warranty Terms are in addition to any rights and remedies available under the ACL.

Commercial Use Warranty
Where Goods are used in a commercial, industrial, public or high-traffic environment (including but not limited to hotels, hospitals, aged care facilities, schools, or restaurants), the Warranty Period is reduced as follows:
- Basins, toilets, baths, sinks - 10 years parts, 1 year labour;
- Tapware - 7 years parts, 1 year labour;
- LED mirrors and accessories - 1 year parts and labour.
Conditions Precedent to Warranty Coverage
The Warranty will be void unless:
- The Goods are installed by an Authorised Installer;
- The Goods are installed strictly in accordance with the Relevant Standards;
- Water supply pressure does not exceed 500 kPa and water temperature does not exceed the manufacturer's stated maximum;
- Isolation stop taps are fitted in accordance with the Relevant Standards;
- Only potable water is used with the Goods;
- Any defects are notified to Bourne within 10 Business Days of discovery;
- Proof of purchase is provided to Bourne at the time of making a claim.
Exclusions
The Warranty does not apply to:
- Damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect, abuse, alteration, or improper storage;
- Damage arising from environmental conditions, including but not limited to salt air, corrosive atmospheres, or extreme temperatures;
- Fair wear and tear, including deterioration of seals, hoses, finishes, and moving parts;
- Damage caused by cleaning with abrasive or corrosive products, solvents, acids, chlorides, or steel wool;
- Products modified, repaired or serviced without Bourne's prior written consent;
- Products connected to untreated bore water, water with excessive mineral content, corrosive chemicals, or foreign matter;
- Any loss or damage to property or consequential loss, except to the extent required by the ACL.
Labour Warranty Limitations
- Labour coverage is limited to the initial 12 months of the Warranty Period.

Bourne will not be responsible for:
- The cost of removing or reinstalling Goods where adequate access is not available;
- Any restoration work, including tiling, painting, or cabinetry, required following removal or reinstallation of the Goods.
Replacement Products and Parts
- Where an identical product or finish is unavailable, Bourne may supply the nearest equivalent in appearance and functionality.
- Replacement of a product or part does not reset or extend the original Warranty Period.
Making a Claim
- All claims must be submitted in writing to Bourne within 10 Business Days of discovery of the defect.

The claim must include:
- Proof of purchase;
- Photographic evidence of the defect; and
- Evidence of compliance with these Warranty Terms.

Statutory Rights
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for product only. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Definitions
- ACL
- means the Australian Consumer Law contained in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
- Authorised Installer
- means a licensed plumber or electrician (as applicable) authorised to install the Goods in accordance with all Relevant Standards.
- Consumer
- means the original purchaser of the Goods from Bourne or its authorised reseller, for use in Australia, and does not include any purchaser for the purpose of resale.
- Goods
- means the products described in clause 2 and purchased in Australia on or after 1 July 2025.
- Relevant Standards
- means all applicable National Standards, State or Territory regulations, and manufacturer installation instructions.
- Warranty Period
- means the period commencing on the earlier of the date of purchase of the Goods or the date of handover for a new build (provided that the handover date is within 12 months of the date of purchase), and continuing for the period specified in clauses 2 and 3.
